Medium-sized companies are considered a success factor of the German economy. In order to remain competitive in the future, however, medium-sizers have to constantly reposition themselves, recognise development trends and work in a more future-oriented way. This is where the Mid-sized Concern Day (MUT) comes in, which is a cross-sector congress for players and decision makers from science, business, politics, media and education, focusing on the exchange of experience, knowledge transfer and networking.
On October 19th, the MUT took place for the 13th time now. Almost 100 owners and executives of medium-sized companies presented themselves at the Congress Center in Leipzig. In addition, lectures, workshops and seminars on current topics in the areas of corporate management, technology, human resources, marketing, sales, digitisation and finance were also offered.
For the first time, founders from the German startup scene also had the opportunity to present their business models, products and services and to exchange ideas with the experienced medium-sized companies. Besides us, nine other young companies were selected by a jury for this startup forum. Coordination was supported by Basislager Coworking – now the largest coworking space in central Germany.
We had a great time at MUT 2017 and would like to thank the organisers for the exciting event and the organisation of their startup forum.
