Newsletter data
In our newsletter, we send out a maximum of three e-mails per month containing current information, studies and success stories on the topics of eCommerce, market observation and brand protection, as well as news about Webdata Solutions and blackbee.
If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter offered on the website, we will require a valid e-mail address and information from you that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data will not be collected. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
When you register for the newsletter, we will save your IP address and the date of registration. This storage serves solely as proof in the event that a third party misuses an e-mail address and registers for receiving the newsletter without the knowledge of the authorised party.
Registration for our newsletter takes place through a so-called ‘double opt-in’ procedure. This means that after registration you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can log in using other e-mail addresses. Subscriptions to the newsletter are logged to be able to prove the registration process in accordance with legal requirements. This includes the storage of the registration and confirmation time, as well as the IP address. Also, any changes to your stored data will be logged through our provider CleverReach.
You can revoke your consent to the storage of data, your e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter itself or directly on our website.

For more information, please see CleverReach’s Privacy Policy:
https://www.cleverreach.com/privacy
Statistical surveys
In the course of this request for our newsletter, technical information, such as information about your browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of request, will initially be collected. This information is used to technically improve services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behaviour, based on their request locations (which can be determined using the IP address) or access times.
The statistical surveys also include determining whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked upon. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to the individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our intention, nor that of CleverReach, to observe individual users. These evaluations serve us much more in recognising the reading habits of our users and adapting our content towards them, or to send different content according to the interests of our users.

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by cookies about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
IP anonymisation
We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. This will cause your IP address to be cut by Google, within member states of the European Union or in other countries party to the agreement on the European Economic Area, before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and then shortened there. On behalf of the operators of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operators with other services relating to website and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Demographic features of Google Analytics
This website uses the “demographic features” function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created which contain information on the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-related advertising by Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific individual. You can disable this feature at any time from your Google account ad preferences or opt-out of Google Analytics collecting your information as described in the “Opt-out of data collection” section.
Google Adwords conversion tracking
This website uses the advertising program Google AdWords and, within Google AdWords, its conversion tracking feature. The provider is:
Google Inc.,
1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View,
CA 94043, USA
When you click on an ad served by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set on your computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification.
If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and ourselves can recognise that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. This means that it is not possible to track cookies on the websites of AdWords customers.
The information collected by the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers can see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they will not receive any information that can personally identify users.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can disable this use by preventing the installation of cookies through setting your browser software accordingly (deactivation option). You will then no longer be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
